2020's biggest music

With the majority of 2004's biggest music releases already on the shelves, I don't think it's too early to start looking ahead at what 2005 will offer. As Rajeev alluded to, album leaks will give us December previews of January and Februay releases. So be on the lookout for the following releases, they may already be floating about the Interwebnet:

M83: Before the Dawn Heals Us (Jan. 25th)

...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead: Worlds Apart (January)

LCD Soundsystem: People Are Their Own Punishment (January)

Doves: Some Cities (February)

Mia Doi Todd: Manzanita (February)

As I continue to scan sites for other forthcoming tunes, I can't help but notice a overabundance of interesting releases in the Spring. For example, we should see new material from Beck, Broken Social Scene, Stephen Malkmus, Massive Attack, New Order, Saint Etienne, Sleater-Kinney and Spoon.

Looks like I might need to invest in that 60-gig iPod.
